>sped up colossal weapon animations to make them less punishing to use, also nerfed certain things about them to make the new versions more balanced, basically made then glorified great weapons
>did a global nerf for enemy ranged enemies AI to make them easier
>slowed down enemy attacks that are triggered by a player using a flask to heal to the point the player no longer needs to think about when they heal

ADP is a cool skill. People decide to make an interesting skilled tied to the game and it's hated? It's bullshit. Why should every build have the capability of perfectly dodging attacks? It's a well done integration of the minimal roleplaying in an ARPG. It also helps that DSII armor actually makes a noticable difference in the Souls games. Oh no, I can't play the game as a boss rush because enemies actually are capable of killing me and attacking me all at once? Bad game. People are so dumb

Just make a build around dodging. There are dozens of viable builds to get you through the game without rolling, and those builds are a lot more powerful. If you want to dodge then make a build around dodging. Would you complain about not being able to boost around in AC withoutthe right parts installed? ADP was done in an abstract way and is easy to see it being a fault when you only rely on seeing it for being a 'rolling skill' It's a fine skill and was an attempt at pushing creativity in a dead genre

I'm 90% its the guy('s?) who has been making bait threads for ages now because he is just that mad that the Souls Series became Ultra Popular via minor gameplay improvements and minor experiments instead of having fuckhuge drastic shifts between games or artificially ending the series.
He has been doing this since at least ER won the Game of the Year Award and after reaching a fever pitch with SotE in which he was riding the wave of actual fans where also getting mad, has branched out the try and rile up everyone across the franchise.
You can tell because there will be atleast one inflammatory souls thread in the catalogue for most of the day with him becoming really active during the Euro hours.
