>>715750526 (OP)Call it shallow but a Giant Baby stereotype has never been popular across human history. I really don't understand why Rareware made such a character. Maybe they were influenced by cartoons at the time like Rugrats but by sheer majority most of the time babies make for annoying characters. Look at how popular Baby Mario in Yoshi's Island is, oh right people hated the useless little shit and his annoying crying. Want another example anyone remember the LOUD crying baby from Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask I had to mute the game during that segment strictly because it was too annoying.
Kiddy Kong being a massive literal baby will always be a horrible idea. And his name is not flattering, kiddy? Blatantly makes something seem infantile. If Rareware was smart it would have been another Dixie and Diddy adventure. And if they really needed to get rid of Diddy then use Tiny Kong. A due of sisters would have been better received than a giant baby. Enough said.
