Temperantia /w Gaze of Despair equipped. Use lightning Durga claws and don't let your combo drop. Once you get the hang of it you can do 2 ~ 3 minute clears and rake in the halos.

Go into chapter 2 and get the bracelet of time and the gaze of despair on, go into the fight with Fortitudo's heads at the end of the chapter, kilgore glitch the head as many times as you can in witch time. You can get millions of halos in like a minute or three, the combo counter rewards you more halos the higher the combo, and your combo counter can go far far higher than 9,999 x 9.9, even though the counter stops there.

Bayonetta ticks all my fetishes from glasses to back to to tall girls to long haired raven hair but somehow the whole package always felt a bit off to me.

yeah bayo1 is the best it just has some annoying shit like insta death qte and shit.
bayo2 is very similar to 1 and is also good but doesn't do much that is special.
bayo3 is an incredibly poor piece of software. you spend half the game doing non-bayo things. it's full of set piece spectacle shit. feels like they only made it because they said they would and just three a bunch of shit in there because they had no real vision for the game.

Bayonetta 1 doesn't get enough credit as being one of the greatest games ever made. Easily Top 500, if not 100, level.

Bayo 2 is a good game but is noticeably worse than the first.

3 gets too much hate and is definitely better than 2 despite its flaws.

The only problem with 2 IMO were the weapons. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but they just didn't feel right for some reason.
