Fallout Troon Vegas’s radio is just as overrated as the game and all the songs featured are by far the worst offerings the original artists had. Big Iron for example is absolute dogshit compared to tons of other Marty Robbin’s ballads, many of which fit the atmosphere and story better.

I never listen to the radio in NV or 4, i very rarely listen to it in 3

iirc its super difficult to mod the built in radio because like the track lists are hardcoded and you can't add new songs to them. guess you'd have to write a whole new radio and then maybe squeeze original tracks into that mod somehow which probably wouldn't be difficult.
