i played this for the first time recently. the ai cheats like a motherfucker, to the point that its not enjoyable at all. i bet its a lot more fun 2 player though.

the smackdown engine is way too goofy and fast. no mercy is the actual goat in terms of actually playing it.

if you just want to make a million custom characters and set up cpu tournaments, then fire pro is the undisputed king.

All In was basically brain rot in wrestling form. There was no decent straight up one on one wrestling match on the entire card. Every match had at least 4 or 5 people with endless moves trading, crappy selling, cameras clearly showing people getting ready for their spots many times, meaningless gymnastics… I was literally bored out of my mind and exhausted at the same time. Absolute garbage. That’s definitely not what a supposedly WM level card is supposed to be. Also, I don’t watch their weekly shows but wtf it doesn’t seem like there are any actual storylines beyond the garbage main event.

What a coincidence, I also picked up the game for the first time around a week ago.
I just lowered the difficulty, and even then the final boss can fill her bar in a single grapple.
Also, submissions are annoying.
What surprises me the most is how tame the game is compared to the gacha shit people play today. It's downright classy compared to something like Nikke.
