Much like Kojima created the Strand-like genre, Nintendo has crafted the first Bananza-like. Perhaps it could be called Voxel platformer? Terrain manipulation platformer? Destructibility platformer? Really not even sure what to call it.

Posting Odyssey only prove you didnt play Bananza. Same dev, entirely different gameplay. Odyssey is about becoming enemies, Bananza is about terrain manipulation.

odyssey isn't about becoming enemies at all, the base movement is way more important. Becoming enemies is just a bit of repreieve between the real game, to break it up a bit

except red faction, crackdown, worms, noita, fracture, EDF, teardown. battlefield, terraria, minecraft, deep rock galactic. spelunky, dig dug, steamworld, lemmings
Nothing like it at all just Nintendo being totally innovative and totally ahead of the like always. The game looks fun I fucking hate when people pretend Nintendo was the first to do anything.

Yeah but DK isn't like that. Terrain manipulation is the main form of interaction in Bananza.
