I actually really did try to show my much younger brothers (dad remarried) how to use emulators and find games and explained how they could play basically any old game they wanted for free. When I figured that out it in the 5th grade it was huge for me. But the younger one would rather play Grow a Garden or some other recent popular game with his friends on Roblox and the older one just likes MLB: The Show because he's deep into baseball. And when I buy modern games for them like Elden Ring it doesn't really stick either. They play some Steam games too but their mom pretty explicitly won't let them have gaming PCs. Oh well.

Things that do not reach the bar are criticized and forced to improve or they will fail, the bar is at worst stagnant but may actually rise on occasion. People with talent are allowed to rise above the talentless and the customer is happy
