High rank village in 4U was even more boring than Wilds low rank. Literally doing nothing for 3 ranks of quests waiting for Kushala to show up and all the NPCs saying "just you wait! she's coming #soon"

Fishing for coinperch in Dundorma to afford upgrades is more SOULFUL than anything in XX, World, Rise and Wilds.

I always hated how starting in the 4th gen all the new hunting grounds had these awful garish contrasting colors. 3U's and P3rd's environments are so much nicer to look at

I don't get the differences between emulators sometimes. Tested out Azahar since everyone was praising it as the latest and greatest most accurate. The shader compilation was noticeably slower. Tried the same games on Citra MMJ and it was much smoother.
I read MMJ is apparently not as accurate and relies on "hacks" to achieve it's speed. But I swear all the games I've tried look and feel the exact fucking same. Starting to suspect this autism over emulator accuracy is a gaslighting meme half the time..

It's surprising how good GU looks on Yuzu with mods and a shader pack. All at 120 fps too. It's really the only thing it has going for it since it's otherwise the worst Classic MH.

the cutscenes were fucking kino

Had the best balance of moveset variety without feeling too bloated while also feeling nice, at least for Greatsword. FU has that impactful, powerful feeling but the moveset feels bare. 3U had the moveset improvements, but it feels like I'm hitting a sponge when I smack a monster.
