What are the differences between Fallout 4 and Skyrim

FO4 is a resource management game, to the point that you can see what everything is made of and if it's any good for your little sim colonies.

skyrim is more open ended with a focus on doing questlines in any order you choose
fallout 4 has a more linear exploration and more focus on scavenging materials to upgrade weapons/armor/settlements

Skyrim has more/better mods and the world is way comfier w/ better variety with all the distinct biomes and whatnot.

Both Skyrim and Fo4 are carried by your own ability to make quest/situations in your own mind and to insert into the worlds. Both games officially force you into roles, but with the power of imagination (or mods) you can bypass these restrictions. This is the true strength of any bethestaslop game

I've only beaten fallout 4 once just once since it came out and ive been doing this almost every year. fallout 4 would be a good game if the story was actually good but it's just so ass.

As tired as it is, i will never ever stop saying that New Vegas would be one of the absolute greatest games ever made if it were more finished (all the content ideas that didn't make it in) and had the engine of Fo4.
