you need more farming. farming farming farming. There's some surprisingly autistic farming set ups to get as much money as possible but for normal bosses you shouldn't need to do that.
knowing what towers are good to kill the early tiers cheaply is good too. Remember to sell your kill tower after the boss dies to buy back more farms.

Also makes you plan ahead a little since it's cheaper to use a bunch of discounted t2/3s to max the power but then t5 is locked off.

You need to have a feeling for what can beat each tier and farm appropiately. For normal bosses that can mean no farming at all or 1/2 farms at most while for Elite bosses it can be that or way higher depending on how hard it is.
The more you farm the easier it should be, as >>715864247 pointed out you can do expensive stuff for tiers 1 and 2, then by tier 3 you should be able to get a paragon (not that it's needed).

you can always dump the +3 into another beast handler. Except not really since beast handler is expensive enough already you don't really want to be going for too much into 2 different animals.
Last I checked I guess fish is an decent early game tower so you can maybe get away with buying it as a cross path on a beast handler focusing on a different path just for the start, and I have heard that condor is pretty happy at just 17 points so you could buy a single extra bird on a fish/dino handler to hit that break point.

Bosses are a special game mode where you fight bosses. The boss spawns on wave 40, 60, 80, 100, and 120, and the stats scale up each time it spawns. They are significantly stronger than anything you encounter in normal gameplay, and so farming is significantly more important. The usual strategy for the early versions of the boss is to farm right up until the boss spawns, sell some farms to buy a tower to kill it, then sell that tower and buy back the farms.

You don't really get anything all that useful in the daily chest, unless you're trying to gold/black border instas. Tier 1-2 can be just as much of a bitch to get as tier 5. Moreso because you can't target farm them outside the first few crates during an event.
You get a free racing pass every 50 days if that's your thing. I got 7 of them now. If you want to speed up bloontona 500 you can use one to enter, leave and rejoin ad nauseam. Every time you enter it counts for +1 on the achievement.
