I tried playing this on Horizon for a couple of days. Very nice people who gave me a bunch of free shit and helped me with unlocking sub classes but unironically how do you just deal with taking 30 minutes to walk somewhere? That puts me off so bad.

the server jannies had allegations of them cheating when the server started. some of the main jannies being unlikable sperglords also contributed to their negative reputation, and there were pseudo-janny syndicates that would send you a /tell whenever you tried to gather resources from the wild (mining etc.), telling you that you had to gather in a specific resource spot or be blacklisted, so people were forced to make a living by fishing, which is practically slave labor, with jannies testing you randomly to make sure you're not a bot
