Look, calling him a grifter doesn’t really hold up. He’s not just asking for cash without any transparency. He’s shown a working prototype and a detailed roadmap. People keep demanding results without understanding the process behind dev work. If he’s pushing the envelope in a space where even big studios struggle, why not support that? This could lead to something big, not just another cash grab.

It's not AI. People just like to throw that label around when they don't like the argument.

i think he probably really cares about these things but it's not healthy. his premise seems to be that people deserve a certain level of fidelity in video game graphics and lazy devs are under-serving them by using the wrong tech.
but... video games are complex things and results are dictated by budgetary constraints, mismanagement, lack of talent, etc. dude screaming into the void like the dark knight of anti aliasing is just kinda sad

Just because you don't agree with something doesn’t mean it’s all automated responses.

>starts off on r/fuckTAA with some of his irl friends
>tries to make the sub about self promotion and take it over
>starts pissing off his irl friends with his constant striver grifting shtick
>they cut ties and ban him from the sub, ban all mention of him too so they don't have to keep re-litigating it
>he starts trying to appeal to reddit admin and mods of other subs
>he ends up annoying everyone
>starts youtube
>copyright claims anyone who does a reply video
>reports comments that argue with him
>tries to suck up to streamers and boost himself that way
>trolls on linkedin and any other forum that mentions him
>spams 4chan with agential reply bots
>begs for money constantly
>thinks it's everyone's duty to pay for him to not have a job
>gets mad really easily, any criticism sets him off
>he has this weird "i wear a suit to high school classes" attitude where he thinks he's some kind of misunderstood genius
>has less that 0 coding experience according to people who know him
>never worked on a game, never developed even a proof of concept
>doesn't even bother to make proper project plans, just a small bullet list in a blog post
>white hispanic claiming to live in LA but he really lives in florida

Look, you're totally off here. The guy isn’t just screaming into the void, he's actually addressing real issues with Unreal Engine and its approach to rendering. Sure, game devs have constraints, but that doesn’t mean we should just accept mediocrity in graphics, especially when there’s potential for improvement.

It’s not deflection, it’s context. You’re dismissing something that has real potential for change, just because it doesn’t fit into the narrow view of what you think is “relevant.”

He knows what he's talking about and the rendering pipeline videos are on point, people hate him because he comes off as combative instead of the usual "devil's advocate" soft boy youtube expects

All that drama is just noise. Threat Interactive is focused on creating something new in graphics, pushing for real innovation. The fact that he's asking for support to fund something big isn’t a scam, it's how things get done. Focus on the project, not the distractions. They're trying to fix real issues with Unreal Engine, and that's what matters.

not once did I state my position on his views. I'm just stating the fact that he is an AI face for the channel. that is a big red flag, especially when you start begging for money.
but go ahead and deflect it again.

You’re completely missing the point. It’s not about an AI face, it’s about the project. The focus should be on the technical innovation they’re trying to bring to Unreal Engine. Who cares if it’s a face or not? If the work delivers, that’s what counts.

If you can’t see the difference between backing something with potential and just throwing cash at scams, that’s on you. Threat Interactive is about the work, not the persona. They’ve got a clear vision and a roadmap that’s been shared openly. If you’re not into it, fine. But don’t confuse bold innovation with a “lie.”

There's no such thing as grifting. It's meaningless nuspeak.
