I feel kind of bad for both Pyra and Mythra. Because Pyra really is the embodiment of all of Mythra's self hatred after the Fall of Torna. Mythra was cold, militant, and aggressive. So Pyra is warm, motherly, and passive. Mythra can't cook for shit. Pyra loves to cook and her food is delicious. But somehow both are severely unsure of themselves.

What does the Xenoblade series have that other JRPG don't? What's it's draw? What even unifies this series, it changes setting, themes, genres, and tone with each instalment.

Based on the information we have about Core Crystals, the base personality is written in the code inside every Core Crystal. Since Blades are intended to be monitoring units for the Architects to record environmental pressures and personalities, their base personality takes in new data every loop but is overall the same person.

All that to say the revived Pyra/ Mythra are probably fundamentally the same just with the addition of Rex's appreciation for life replacing their anxiety
