No shitposting, not drama, just good PS1 games.
Alright, been playing pic related. Pretty rad for a somewhat early PS1 game. The house you play in is open, where you chose your world, which is open, which contains three levels which are all open. This was very flexible for a PS1 game. The controls suffer a little from the PS1-syndrome zoomer clunkiness where the camera will get stuck on corners and will just downright refuse to go where you want in some cases.
Still, enjoyable.
>>715848058kek what was with every game feeling the need to call out mario around that time?

>>715849556I remember playing this AFTER Xenogears and thinking it was a big downgrade.
>>715849574Oh yeah that's true! I also remember the some of the latter levels being in the imperial capital and you got to explore streets and markets and stuff. I always liked it when games would expand upon their origin, even if ENG kinda did drag it out a bit more than you'd expect.
Sheep Raider (or Sheep Dog n Wolf if you're eurotrash) was a surprisingly clever little puzzle-solving game. A friend of mine had it on PC which both looked and played better but beyond that it was pretty similar.
I like team buddies. It's a pretty unique take on a squad based shooter with a really intuitive control scheme for the time and one of those art styles that aged pretty well, especially with upscalers and shit. Get the PAL version for uncensored voice lines.
