There's 13 Assassin's Creed games and not a single one of them are good. AC1 to Syndicate was all boring drab Call of Duty-tier annual slop, and starting with Origins it became even more soulless. I don't think I've ever seen such a failure of a franchise before

Shadows. It kept me engaged throughout all because of the politics surrounding feudal Japan and the gameplay is just better when you can enable classic assassinations back and have versatile stealth.

I got 3/4ths of the way through origins before I forgot I had it installed which by ubisoft standards is a 10/10 but in hindsight that was purely because of how much I liked egypt. With odyssey I made it through one hour of boredom before quitting, I only got it because anons on here shilled the fuck out of it and just like ghost recon wildlands listening to people here was a mistake.

I remember after the first three games people bitched about the animus and each time ubisoft basically told people to go fuck themselves and put even more of it in each game for some reason. I think they thought it was awesome and were spiteful that people didn't agree.
