KoTOR fans wanted more story focus, MMO fans want more multiplayer shit. The in-game cutscenes on release were notoriously shit and MMO combat was a massive turn off for the RPG players. Also I'm pretty sure this money sink was the reason Bioware ended up getting bought out by EA. It's still fun though and I enjoyed the story more than BG3 for what it's worth.

I really liked it played for like 7 years but i got tired of it eventually. Soldi 8/10 game as far as im concerned. Voice acting was top notch for the agent as well

I don't even want to argue about this since dawntrail was so dogshit. Is SWTOR really more peak than Shadowbringers? I liked the lightside sith inquisitor storyline from the minimal amount of the game I played.

I'll say yes. FF14 definitely has strong moments but so much of it is just boring filler.
Meanwhile SWTOR is very solid through the whole game, you can remove all the MMO elements and you're left with a pretty good single-player RPG
But my opinion is pretty biased because I like Star Wars and don't care much for Final Fantasy

I will always love Swtor, I found my Star Wars nerd GF in it. I suck her cock every day

Only other playable MMO besides wow, and I’m not playing that shitshow.

IMO it's a 9/10 game that with a few simple changes could be a 10/10.
Given that you can get hundreds of hours of golden age bioware content for free you'd be crazy not to at least try it.

When it came out the game run like shit and wasn't what people wanted at all. People called it TORtanic because it had, for the time, one of the largest videogame budgets ever, and it failed to dominate the market space despite all the money and respected names behind it.
