>>715876614That still puts the pressure into the grip. There's usually a knuckle resting under the dpad section when it's the primary input (hooked by L2/R2 shape/casing).
The dpad is comfortable to use ont he the xbox controllers for the same reason tha analog is good on dualshock.
It's not about the balance per side (direction and button), but top/bottom and tilt away from/into grip.
Overall, the grip on a xbox controller is just too low. And it's not by much.
