A thread for Gaming PC devices (controller, headset, keyboard, mouse and more)

I'm considering one of these keyboards, anyone here got an advice on the best?
- Logitech : I got a superlight x2 mouse already, should I just go with it (so it uses the same software). I'm worried about keycaps quality tho, seems like there is wobbling?
- Razer : Most Pros use it, it seems pretty good but too expensive.
- Steelseries : I tested it in shop and it's probably the smoothest keyboard out there.

There are, I have one, they do not work that well for that sort of thing. You can't really achieve fine control balancing your fingers like that in the WASD position the same way you can with a stick, no good for platforming or steering. I still enjoy it though, having analog movement even if just for superficial purposes gives an extra feeling of connection to the game, like you're more directly controlling your character when the exact distance you push your key is the exact speed you walk.

Unless you're playing keyboard intensive games at a pro level at 300+ APM, you don't need the Razer or Steelseries. I bought a Razer Huntsman v2 Pro 3 years ago that I bought specifically because I was running into a problem at my high level MMO gameplay where I wasn't able to de-press the keys fast enough to keep up with my potential limit, and it 100% solved that exact issue. I made monetary return on that investment, and I wouldn't have bought it if I weren't going to get that return. Are you willing to shell out hundreds for an overkill keyboard with a specific usecase?

idk about the Logitech one. Looks kinda funky.

In general I wouldn't consider any of these super high price keyboards unless you've done your research and you can confidently say "yeah I need to minmax this". Most likely you don't need anything other than a cheap 40 bucks throwaway mechanical keyboard.
