Arguably Gray might be gay, but even then it could just be her latching onto what she lacked (the queen with an actual fully functioning female human body capable of conceiving children). In the story, it's shocking in the moment, because the options she had fucking sucked, and it becomes tragic later when she's shown to be fucking miserable and aimless in her later life. As an onlooker judging the people who see it as pro-life, it just seems like they picked the most simplistic reading possible of "this character is the protagonist (up to this point), surely everything she does exemplifies moral virtue and goodness as dictated by the writer, as is in no way merely a reflection of the character that we're learning about as we go". Blue Prince has nothing in common with Outer Wilds besides its utilization of music. Ironically proving my point about how much puzzle gamers subconsciously weight music. Outer wilds is a game about exploration, natural forces, and discovery. Movement is at the core of Outer Wilds. Blue prince is just pulling a slot machine until the reels line up. Its back half is a singular mechanic shamelessly used over and over again.

The human story of Gray, Lily, and Lillie is arguably the first layer to the game anyway. The meatiest for sure, but Cif's route and DIS route both require more spelunking through the Void and understanding Add and her children in order to beat them. They both tie into each other thematically, but to an extent you do need to care about the story to actually complete the game since DIS route requires knowing the the order of the Void Lords and their associated agents and you'd only take mental notes about shit like that if you're fully engrossed in trying to uncover everything about the game by that point.

There is one specific action that you do exactly once in each game, in one way it's just a way to avoid a super strong boss, in the second game it's the last step of a series of specific steps you need to take to get what used to be the true ending, before the third DLC added another one.
A similarity it has with BS is that it involves looping the game. You get an ending, you loop around, you do other things to get another ending. It gets faster every time because of how strong you get and how familiar you are with everything.

I got most of the way through Lorelei before quitting because I just wasn't having much fun. Lots of little niggles like the tedious way the house is arranged so you have to keep checking the fucking map to remember where the door you needed was, it's like RE1's mansion but you're constantly backtracking. Then you factor in the awful movement speed, even with coffee which is also an annoyance, and I just stopped playing after getting to the middle of the red maze and never opened it again.

Maybe there are some cool puzzles that open up in the last 10%, but I was getting kind of sick of not finding anything neat that was hiding as set dressing.

Beating the game the first time unlocks the infinite lives glyph, retard. Even more than that, getting past level 200 without being in a void state reveals how to manipulate the Void. Death is entirely inconsequential at worst or a mechanic to manipulate the number of lives you have in order to traverse the Void at best.

The entire appeal of the game the first go around should be to understand why this big-breasted titty wizard is entering a big gaping hole in the ground since literally nothing is told to you in the beginning. Outer Wilds is a big midwit game. The moving world is neat, but that's all it is. The puzzles are simplistic and dull to solve, and the writing is awful.

There was a moment in the DLC when I was chilling with the owls and they all died and I got kicked out of the sim, and instantly all the pieces clicked in my head and I knew how to get past the fireplace on the next run. That's fair, Anodyne's main gameplay is pretty remarkable, it's just Link's Awakening + Yume Nikki and it's very easy to feel content and stop playing after you beat the final boss. But if you start NG+ after beating it you keep the swap broom from the final puzzle area before the final boss, which means you can now swap wall tiles in the overworld for floor tiles and explore out of bounds areas that previously seemed inaccessible and like they were just decoration.

I just use C + sword. It autoslashes if you hold the button, which protects you frontally like drills do but doesn't absorb bullets (good for scoring, as stalling bullets also stalls multiplier loss) and does larger stronger slashes that parry small bullets if you tap (which shreds certain bosses and is extremely useful for the breakable orange balls 2-1 boss's last phase sprays everywhere)
I even find it easier than drill since parries mean you don't have to get dangerously close to get high multiplier with melee kills
B is generally easier to survive or score with since its weapons have more spread and you can pussy out with the charge shot, but C has more potential

Don't worry about dying, just eat the fruit the first time. It rewards you for getting good, but unless you have a 200 IQ then or cheat then you will probably mess up and die towards the last couple floors.
Also I recommend not looking up solutions and playing around the mechanics as much as possible. It rewards you for exploring too.
Also play the game as blind as possible.
