Did people actually find this puzzle difficult? ahahaha what a bunch of retards. I bet the upcoming demake will trivialize it to be insultingly easy.

It was rated M for ages 17 and older. Are you saying you ignored basic instructions, and thus it was entirely your fault?

it's fine if you were some dumb 14 year old who'd rather jack off to porn instead of solve a puzzle, but there are full grown zoomers out there complaining that this puzzle is too "cryptic"

Iirc it's probably because the game points out how there's blood on the keys, as if that matters. But the blood on the keys actually means nothing, so if you look to that for clues you just get stuck

I played this game when I was six years old and didn't know any English. It took me a full week, trying every possible combination.
To be fair, I have my dad to thank. He was the one who told me I should focus only on the keys that made no sound.

people forget that music education was compulsory up to 8th grade. everyone knows how to read music, play the guitar and play the piano to a basic level.

You don't need to know anything about music to solve this puzzle. It just requires abstract thinking and some baby-tier spatial reasoning.

I mean the internet was around at the time of SH3's release. You could have just read synopses of those books if you weren't familiar enough with them.

if the solution isn’t inferred from material in the game, it’s a bad puzzle. should’ve put the actual full stories in the game at that point.

I mean, the background is amazingly boring (The same four notes repeated four times each), but that makes it easier to whistle, not harder.
The main vocals sound whistable.

It's only cheating if you look up the actual solution. If anything it's a problem with education.
No worse than the music box puzzle in SH2 which requires knowledge of fairy tales.

We only read like two Shakespeare stories in school. Nobody ever goes “I wanna read Shakespeare! Waow, THE TEMPEST!” we read Lord of the Rings and Eragon. Remember Eragon? Yeah, that kinda sucked but it had a blue dragon.
