I liked ori more than hollow knight
Superhot looks cool but it wasn't for me
K0 and northern journey are great

I need to give cocoon another shot, it felt too simple and easy with pretty visuals

I put disco elysium even though I havent finished it, simply because its just that good and the next game I could think of, i didn't like enough to put on here.

I honestly forgot that Outer Wilds was an indie game, thats why its so low on the chart. Otherwise its largely in order from left to right. Fear and Hunger (termina specificslly) is a bit lower than id actually put it, but other than that.

>king's field inspired exploration
>romancing saga meets pokemon battle mechanics with types, formation, positioning
>hard mode that disallows grinding
>additional difficulty modifier that introduces a rolling level cap that further prevents out leveling the game
Enchant Farm is great.

>n because of combat and a lot more powers
i like the combat and powers, but i feel like they are not as good as it should have been, because the enemies and bosses are far below the potential of ori's moveset, and the difficulty progression is fucked: by the end youre just way too overpowered, its too hard to die specially with that healing skill
blind forest feels like a much more balanced game that gets the most out of what ori has to offer

heres some other games, ill just shill some of my favorites because i love 8 games in your list and helped develop the 9th
>astlibra (decently well known):
80 hour silly RPG. Made by 1 giga autist jap over 15 years. The soundtrack is entirely licensed / copyright free songs consisting of his music taste, its fucking fantastic and most tracks are now primarly known for astlibra. It may feel shitty at first, probably because in some ways it is, but it gets dramatically better as you unlock more moves, and think of it as "the game you wish you had when you were 12" or "the full fucking 80 hour game version of the best flash game you ever played as a kid
Dont play the demo, its a total mess. The normal game is a much better introduction
>Baba Is You (Mainstream popularity)
most puzzle games bore me to death. now this is gamepaly
>Environmental Station Alpha (not very known)
The first commercial game of the guy who made Baba and Noita. I cant say the coolest thing about it without spoilers, come into it seeking a generic metroid-like. The graphics were jarring at first but it ended up being a very cool world with great music and atmosphere as i got used to it
>Project Silverfish (not very known but mainstream popularity soon, EA)
Stalker clone except actually good. Mogs stalker in several aspects
>ultrakill
arguably best action game ever made, giant package even before 1.0
the only fps games without shit bossfights and unique shooting mechanics, really satisfyign everything

Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon is pretty good. Only real issue with it is that the board becomes easily congested if you play too fast, but I really enjoy itโ€™s content.

I like indies a lot because you will randomly find a game that tickles your autism in a way no other game can. For me this was probably troubleshooters because of how in depth the build autism for characters is. Also misty is mai waifu

I've only played indies titles such as Hotline Miami (sucked), Shovel Knight (sucked), and Hyper Light Drifter (sucked big time).
Journey was one of a kind in the the dev smell its own farts category.

What a waste of time.

I'm late game in intravenous 2 trying to play Sean's levels pacifist and I'm getting filtered
There's too many guards to do clean knockouts on the difficulty before true, and if you break one glass pane or ko one guy, the whole map gets super senses and you have to do hit and run tactics, then, save scum after getting away
It's a total shitshow, at least ventilating all the guards as Steve is still pretty fun

dont rely too much on KOs if its not necessary, try to sneak past stuff
detonating explosions and shit can distract a huge chunk of the map and potentially clear a path
beanbag shotguns have a lot of ammo and are some of the most "upfront" ways to semi-loudly knock out enemies in a pinch
gas grenades can knock out a fuckton of enemies at once

also, on true difficulty, enemies will be able to notice missing patrols after like 2-3 minutes. so watch out for that when knocking out enemies in patrol routes that can be seen by other enemies
