I should have beaten this game back in the day but I dropped it after getting close to the end of it iirc. I definitely enjoyed it but too many games just calling for that attention so I forgot about it. Wonder if its sequel is any good.

All I remember from this is that the game fucks you over when you're playing too well and beat that tournament thing on the first visit

Oh shit, I didn't know you could get a juggernaut as a summon.

Just use random commands on trash mobs to slowly discover combos and then use them on the next boss.

it keeps the same combat system but it's extremely generic. eschews any kind of original atmosphere or vibe in favor of basically every JRPG cliche ever.
