>review scores for puzzle games

Isn't there a flaw in practically all review systems for when it comes to puzzle games? How can you grade them on the same score system used for all other genres and look at yourself as if this is fair or makes any real sense at all? Does the puzzle game accomplish the goal it sets out to do? Is it fun enough that people with interest will enjoy it for what it is? Is it free of any major glitches or game breaking bugs? Then shouldn't it be the perfect game tailored to that individuals taste?

I just can't see the logic in grading these games the same way games in other genres get graded. How the hell isn't this discussed more?

>dude Tetris is PERFECT!
>refuses to actually say which version of Tetris they think is perfect, even though there's been countless versions, often improving upon the original which would mean it wasn't perfect
