My most favorite game ever was when I played the Norman family in Italy as tyrants who refused to assimilate or ethnically change the italian counties and instead I just appointed a bunch of family members as counts to my growing kingdom and married all my family members to each other to create a hug incestuous dynasty. I would get upset when my family would marry someone without my permission and it wasn't family, so I would always try to marry them off before appointing them anywhere or using favors to force them to marry all my cousins in my court. I eventually became King of Italy, it was sweet.

Haven't played 3 yet. But in 2 I always form the GRECO-PERSIAN-ARABIAN-INDIAN-CHINESE EMPIRE like Alexander the Great (PBUH) had intended. Or playing as a STEPPECHAD is always good

Based take. The game does way too good a job making the empresses and noble daughters look like smug bratty waifus. I get why people end up running an eternal matriarchal bloodline where the whole family tree is just a messy tangle of siblings, nieces, and a few “divine” bastards sprinkled in for flavor. CK3 is just really good at tapping into your filthy little medieval fantasies.
