Let's say I give you the point that the gameplay improved (it did not), that still leaves music, atmosphere, presentation etc which the remake downgraded.
But the worst offense of the remake is the stretched playtime, diluting a short but thight experience and voiding any gameplay "improvement" just by overstaying it's welcome.
