Probably the PS Vita if we're being real. That thing had a ton of custom hardware for its time-OLED screen (on the original), rear touchpad, proprietary cartridges, and its own damn memory cards that cost as much as gold. After that, Sony just leaned fully into generic PC-like architecture with the PS4 and PS5. No more Cell processor madness or weird ass Emotion Engine gimmicks.

That's probably it yeah. The OG PSP had a ton of hype around it, not only was Sony challenging Nintendo on the portable console front but it looked fantastic too and had lots of games.
