I can understand why normies might think this game is the best ever but I'm disappointed in you lot. This game isn't just overrated, it's actively bad. Baby's first twist that was obvious within the first 10 mins of the game... pretty, meaningless and repetitive environments... shoddy cut corners all over the place if you look for them. here's an example of a very very similar game with a decent narrative: FFTA. it has a nice, simple, well-executed story. you meet a bunch of people, including some kids who have a pretty rough life. MC is transported into a magical world. During his adventures he meets people he recognises from the real world in different roles, there are some surprises along the way. The game never beats you over the head with big unexplained things that the characters refuse to explain diegetically. The game never says "look at this big weird thing... Isn't it weird and mysterious?" then refuses to let you listen to the characters share their in-game knowledge about it.
