I hated him when I was like 5, at first. but then I saw him pulling at his pajama feet in the idle animation and thought it was kawaii. then I always liked him from then on and thought he was funny, especially when he screams when he dies and freaks out.

I'm surprised a DK sprite hack hasn't been done.

this character had no fucking reason to exist. It literally could have been DK and Dixie instead of this ugly fucker.

Instead of letting you play as Donkey Kong, you play as "DK except he screams a lot and pisses himself."

It adds nothing to the game. It's different for the sake of being different. It should have been a Dixie and DK game.

I think the thought process was that it would make no sense for DK to be the backup character for Dixie. And also that it would be weird for K. Rool to kidnap just Diddy. They easily could have handwaved it by saying Dixie was familiar with the Northern Kremisphere and was leading DK on the hunt for Diddy.
