It doesn't though. That's only if you use VRR. If you get more than 60fps you don't need VRR.

4k doesn't matter much right now. Not many cards and games can even do 4k at a high frame rate. At best you can get 4k at 60fps. For now, just make sure it can at least do 2k. That seems to be the standard right now.

As for refresh rate, you'd want around 160Hz at least. OLED is great.
2k resolution at 160Hz is among the best you can get these days. So that's basically what I am recommending. Everything else is overpriced shit since NO card can't even do 4k at 240Hz on games like Cyberpunk.

4k is significantly better for everything outside of video games. Most games will run at 4k even on old hardware because most games aren't AAA 2020s goyslop.
