Dune Awakening just came out. Starsector and Factorio are getting updates still. GTA VI is a couple years away for PC. World of Warcraft right now is peak (both in player counts and quality). Gaming is great.

Honestly no. video games came out at the end of the peace-time we've enjoyed since WW2 and the Cold War times. And it's probably going to be severely restricted by the incoming right-wing political shift that's happening globally, and after that, we'll have to fight for years after WW3 is over to win back some basic rights and begin more freedom of speechy lifestyles again, which automatically helps to commoditize creativity and open minded ideas.

Right Wingers kill creativity. That's proven countless times through history. Even if you think you're right wing, and you hate certain faux-art video games or bad narratives you don't like, you still don't realize that you've aided in defeating the culture that allows for creativity and expression to occur.

Not until they stick to 30 people doing programming/arts.
> 5 people on arts assets/Another 5 on any 3D CGUI assets.
> 10 people on the programming different levels.
> 5 people on the calculation side of levels, game mechanics and physics engine mastery.
> 5 people doing funny voices in the basement, no more unhinged celebs that voice act very generic voices that can be pulled off by a fat nerd in a front of a camera. Mark Hamil was the only real star as The Joker role in Arkham games.
