Why do Youtubers think they are entitled to success for doing the exact same bit for a decade plus straight? That's never how it worked in entertainment. That's the thing, Youtube promotes doing the exact same thing forever and will actively punish a youtuber for making their channel more varied because it fucks with the algorithm. The system won't know to whom to push the video to, so Youtube stops showing the videos to anyone.
Some youtubers take the obvious route of having multiple channels for different topics, but that runs into the issue of content being disseminated across channels so they probably end up with much longer periods of time between uploads on each channel, which tanks the algorithm's inclination to push the channel's latest video to anyone.

It's a fucked up shitty system that wants excessive monotonous content being churned out and they simply refuse to alter the algorithm or can't really change it to anything "better" simply because there are way too many youtube channels vying for attention.

Kind of wished Censored Gaming guy held on a bit longer and figured something out before killing himself. I only remember him having shit luck but I guess some people are saying he was just bad with money or something. Not sure about that one.
