Without having played the game, I have to say that a lot of "woke" (and other, to be fair) beliefs are transmitted in very surface-level ways, with a lot of the people ending up following them not really identifying with the underlying thought processes and values on a deeper level, just convincing themselves that they believe "the right things" and stand against "evil". Thus, some more subtle nuances might not be given that much attention
