I used to love Japanese games, they were great and always there for me when the western games industry shit the bed.
But nowadays I feel like they are as greedy if not worse than western games.

The times where EA was THE video game antagonist and their greediness could hardly be surpassed, are long over.

Now I see more and more bad sequels to an once good Japanese game series, gacha gambling shit, overpriced kusoge and Japanese companies turning into evil greedy corporations that milk the players to an extreme degree.

In the past it felt like they made great media that you liked to spent your money on, now it feels like everything they make was optimized to empty your pockets.
