Came to post this. If the 3DS isn't the best console ever created, it is second place. Both 3DS and PS2 changed everything for both tech and sheer amount of games. 3DS gets some less points because many games were just ports from the DS with polish or on previous consoles. 3DS also gets less points because your only genuine option is to get a physical console and homebrew it. PCSX2 has been updated to be a perfect emulator when it used to be one of the worst.
