I fell in love with Final Fantasy Tactics: Kino of the Lions after playing it on mobile. Now I want to check this out.

1st chapter is great and I'd say better than FFT. Last chapter is shit, though better than the one before it. It's hard to draw a line when the game goes 11/10 to 5/10 but it happens.
Cards were a big mistake. Also square recycles everything... except a Catuia archtype which says a lot.
