MGSV for me but only because I expected so much from it. I haven't been able to get excited about games since TPP was such a letdown. I didn't care much for ER, which is essentially DaS4, so SotE was about what I was expecting.

Godwyn was the most interesting part of the entire lore and they did nothing with him. Somebody discovered that they actually had a fully fleshed out model for Godwyn with animations rigged to it and then they just... scrapped it. Lol. Messmer has an excellent concept, the idea of a character kills all hornsentniggers for the sake of the family that hates him is one of the more captivating ideas in the Souls games. But Messmer is fucking irrelevant to the plot. He just sits in the Shadow Keep looking scary until you kill him and use his fire. Artorias, Maria, Gael, all the other 'cover bosses' were instrumental to the lore of the DLC. What does Messmer do, exactly?
Still, Soulsslop lore has always been massively overrated and deeply inferior to Armored Core

Great music (except Radahn phase 2 which sucks balls), great visuals, a few great bosses (and Messmer is the best of them btw), everything else ranges from meh to bad.
