Assault sucks. This game is alright.

I enjoyed it when I was 12 which isnt a high bar. I have it for Dolphin. I tried Assault recently and god damn was it bad. Ive beaten 64 hundreds of times and could stand less than 5 minutes of Assault.

I thought for sure I would enjoy this game. It starts with a fictional made up language that is voice acted, so cringe, and when I was finally playing the game I was this furry bait character moving boxes around. DROPPED

Same. Also interested. Only thing is that if its a combat focused game, its immediately disqualified for me. Im tired of how uninspired metroidvanias are, and how all of the fucking retards that make it can only do combat, and forget that its also supposed to be a platforming adventure genre. Fun gameplay, beautiful graphics, likeable characters, comfy fantasy world into space opera "twist" is handled well. Had a blast with this one and even beat the post game dungeon. No idea why people hate this game with such passion.

For me, it's Fallout 4. It's nowhere near as bad as people tried to convince me it was, and I think it's better than 3, which is almost completely made redundant by New Vegas. Fallout 4 being different is arguably a good thing because Bethesda was never going to execute the Fallout 3 formula better than NV did.
