No it won't. If a corporation and or industry tells you they can't do something. The answer is they totally can but it would require them to stop making 1% more money for a few years.
Everytime a industry whined and fought back against people wanting shit to change and claimed nothing could be done. The industry was forced to change and suddenly what was "impossible" was suddenly not only possible but incredibly easy. Take a look at Seat belts for cars for instance. Many claims about adding them to all cars as a requirement was bitched about by the automotive industry. Claim it's "impossible" and would ruin the industry forever. Then when it was made mandatory suddenly every car had seatbelts and not a single fucking manufacturer remotely had an issue.

If they say it's "impossible" what they mean to say is it's not profitable.
