>>716040838You still have some shortcuts like the crouching DP input though. The macros people use in 6 are also for button combinations you don't use frequently or reactively in 3S at all so I think it ultimately ends up feeling like more buttons to keep in mind than an actual simplification. I can't speak for every character but none of Ken's links really feel particularly hard either at least not once you learn you should piano the buttons and it's not like there are no links in SF6. I was gonna say getting EX moves out reliably is harder but I genuinely just realized while typing this that I should be pressing all three buttons to make it more consistent and started getting it every time. I dunno, I don't feel like anybody playing SF6 is gonna get scared off from 3S because of the general execution. Modern players, I suppose, but they're a rare enough sight that I almost forgot about them and even then the higher ranked ones are usually at least using motion inputs for combos.
>>716041007It's kinda nice honestly. I don't get why devs try to make games easier to get into by removing motion inputs instead of simplifying combos. Genuinely never met anybody who cared about having to do a QCF but I know several people that really don't want to learn combos or setups.
