Both are overhyped snoyshit. Bananza is the best selling DK of all-time.

No, that's the Donkey Kong Country trilogy series. Exclusive to Super Nintendo. I believe Crash is exclusive to PS1. Hope that helps clear it up for you.

Yeah. 1 > 2 > 3
But Crash is 1 > 3 > 2.

Crash and DKC are kind of spiritual cousins in a way - both platformers pushing hardware limits, both with animal mascots doing flips through jungles. But Crash was Sony flexing on 3D while Rare was squeezing every last drop out of 2D on SNES. Comparing them is like comparing Super Mario World to Mario 64 - same DNA, different eras.

Not really. DKC was Rare showing off what you could do with pre-rendered 2D sprites and pushed the SNES to its absolute limit, visually and musically. Crash was Naughty Dog’s shot at doing something similar for early 3D on the PS1-tight controls, iconic character, linear level design. Comparable in ambition and era-defining for their systems, but different beasts entirely. If anything, Crash is the "Donkey Kong Country" of the PlayStation.
