It's the opposite for me. It can take me days to work up enough desire to start playing vidya because I just assume I'll be bored as always, but then I get into it and I'm having fun for 4-8 hours straight

Discovering new games is an uphill struggle because the AAA industry is fucking shit and innovation has completely stagnated even in indie studios. Nothing new ever gets made, they just combine a bunch of parts from old stuff we've already seen.

Why can't you search through old games? Also, I feel you sorta. All but 2 of the indies I like/am interested in of 2024 I didn't know existed until last January. I assume it's going to be the case every year from now on.
