it is somewhat good. It takes a while to get better. I was bored af for the first 8 or so hours but i ended up liking it quite a lot towards the end

it gets shallow and predictable near the end
epilogue sucks absolute dick because it shat on the first game while having fan fiction OC charaters like Charles a half native half black man and Sadie a strong wvoman who don't need no man.

Yes.

Yes.

The core game is solid, but the main draw of the game is just doing side activities. It's a well made timesink, and that's enough to be considered a worthwhile video game.

>depends on wether you like netflix-level dramas or not
Gameplay is fine. Standard R* shooting galleries. Itโ€™s โ€˜immersiveโ€™ with a very pretty world but is pretty slow.

Yes, no idea. Takes forever to get going, first shootout wasn't fun after holding the dedicated walking sim button of your horse for an hour or so, so I uninstalled. If it's good it also wastes your time a lot until it gets there.

It's good, it may seem as a movie game if you only follow main plot because there will be a lot of cutscenes, but if you try to do side stuff there will be a lot of exploring and free roam.

nah, this is a movie game....rdr2 has far less cutscenes than TLOU or even Death Stranding. Plus RDR2 is open world you can do a ton of shit outside the main quest, i put 275 hours into it and i think 200 of them are just hunting and exploring. But go ahead and listen to /v/ posters who say it's bad and not play it, just like them kek

nigger i really enjoyed the game in spite of its flaws, but i like rockslop
until you leave the mountains it gets better, which is like over an hour of playtime
it makes repeat playthroughs a little annoying

the story is disjointed, anticlimactic and drags on too long. GTA IV had the same problem.
guarma + murphee country + john's rescue were kind of pointless, you could cut that and have them go straight to the native against army sideplot, add more missions to that where the gang fights the US army, and then the schism between members holds more weight - because they're fighting the fucking army.

there are ways to improve or tighten the story. like i said, the first part is grating on replays - replays in which you want to fuck around and explore cuz you didn't do certain things on your first playthrough

GTA IV suffers similar problems but you can do pretty much whatever the hell you want after like 10 mins of introduction

i also think the loot/inventory system and cores system is annoying and just serves to inflate playtime but whatever. i spent a lot of time in GTA IV trying to find a hotdog stand while blasting the radio

It's an insanely good open world game to wander around and chill, some retarded anons get too hung up on the story and missions and forget about all the rest.
The fun part in GTA5 wasn't doing stupid heists but stealing planes and driving motorcycles off mountains, and in general in Rockstar games the "sandbox" side is where the real entertainment is found.

i just learned to let go of the aim and then re-aim, too bad i didn't like most of the gang or the story that was shown
the side stories were fine and entertaining but the main portion was just wack
>one of the most wanted men in the area
>proceeds to drink at the busiest cowpoke town, within spitting distance of the sheriff's office
>gang gets told to lay low
>proceed to do even more crazy and wacky jobs with more and more fuck ups
shit was more repetitive than walking dead comics
