Because he's the only one with a half-decent rogues gallery. Cool villains = cool bosses. If that Wonder Woman game was made, who the fuck would the bosses be? Fucking Cheetah?

Spidey is a pussy in the sense that he only cares about things on a neighborhood scale. In every comic, he's laughed off, not invited at all, or straight ignored at the discussion table when it comes to the above nation threats. Which is a fucking shame because he's as smart as Tony and Richard and even stronger than them with his powersets but he thinks too small and is too much of a granny's boy to take charge unlike Batman where aliens shut the fuck up once he glares at them. It's a difference in charisma.

Yeah, any other superhero would feel woefully underpowered thanks to the combat being balanced. Imagine superman needing a 6 hit combo to take someone down, it would be ridiculous.

The shitty thing is people in-universe still treat Spiderman like hes some teen or young adult in his 20s when hes around the same age as the Xmen who are seemingly “more mature and adult” than he is.

Because fisticuffs + gadgets translates beautifully to a vidya format.

I still like Arkham Origins best.
After that Gotham Knights.

I've said it before, but what would also work if you took young Clark just discovering his powers. Saints Row IV literally had a power progression like this, and those powers were the one actually fun thing in that game.
