I really enjoyed my time with DRAPLINE, Gunner-chan!, Nitro Express, and Dolls Nest.

None, my backlog is so big and I have so little time I'm not catching up and whenever I buy a game it's one from 3 years ago when it's at least 50% off if not more.

Based and practicalpilled. I do the same-why pay $70 for a game I'll maybe touch once when I can wait a year or two, get it on sale for $15, mods included, and all the patches ironed out? i've only ever seen the first movie, but the game was very fun even if you're not that deep into the universe of starship troopers.
it's on gog, so i pirated it first then decided to buy it since i enjoyed it so much. saves transfer over easily, so that was nice

i'd definitely recommend playing it at its hardest difficulty from the get-go as it makes the game a lot of fun. the first couple missions are pretty easy as a sort of tutorial, but it does get very challenging near the end (and in the 2nd dlc).
hopefully you enjoy it :)

this game is good but i wish it had a little more depth
second to last chapter in and the histograms are still pretty grouped up
would have been nice to see a few upgrade items as you went through the chapters, a triple welder would have saved me a ton on some builds

Finished The Drifter yesterday and planning on seeing what's changed for the 1.0 release of Back to the Dawn

Sticking just to 2025 games, I'd say these were all at least decent: BladeChimera, Ender Magnolia, Fantasy Life i, Gal Guardians 2, Hero of Law, Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo, Rift of the Necrodancer, Shantae Advance
I also have Cast & Chill and Tales from Sol, but haven't gotten to them yet.

Excepting Fantasy Life (which I got on discount), everything up there is relatively cheap (and Hero of Law is free). I wouldn't say that high-profile games don't interest me at all (I'm interested if anyone has things to say about Karma, for instance), but they aren't usually something I jump at full-price.

#Drive Rally is the only game that I was released this year that I bought.
It is an ok rally game with a distinct art style for the cars and characters.

I guess if you have nothing better to do then give it a go but don't expect much.
