The magic resource I've heard mentioned you get from dodges/attacks/parries is relatively abundant and you can equip multiple spells at once, allowing frequent use of them to supplement your moveset
Also hope they kinda did the same thing as Wukong and have a lot of bosses with at least decent movesets (ideally more than a few really good ones)

You can only equip one spell and the resource only lets you use it once per like 20 normal attacks, making it like ER Ash of War where it barely ties into your moveset, more either outright replacing it in the case of OP spells or only using it as the very occasional shit out damage attack after using a critical attack.
There's as few bosses as most other Souls-likes and/or they are garbage fights
