No demand for it since itโ€™s the worst game in the series

They should have remastered both Prime 1 and 2 together, but Nintendo going above and beyond is unheard of this day and age.

Prime 2 is too hard for Switchtards and Prime 3's motion controls are too hard to adapt.

They don't want to delay 4 even more than it already has been. Maybe they'll port it and 3 after 4 comes out. Maybe.

nigga why do you want a dev team to waste time remaking a game that they have already made twice, so that you can pay $80 for it, when primehack is better than anything they would make and is already available for free

They'll use it as schedule filler down the line. Eventually every major Nintendo game will be available as either a virtual console title or a native Switch/Switch 2 game. It just makes sense to have your entire catalog available for people to buy, especially when you are Nintendo and never do price cuts on them

Iโ€™d rather they focus on making Beyond as great as they possibly can before reworking a game Iโ€™ve already loved and played to death, DESU.

I say this without irony
A remaster would only be a downgrade, without spending exorbitant amounts of time and money to get it right
The Prime 1 remaster was already a slight art style downgrade. There are certain textures and objects that are simply less detailed than their original counterparts, the removal of per-vertex lighting meaning nothing glows like in the original, the general downgrade to the color palette, the switch lighting system making everything look like plastic....
things got shinier and are rendered at a higher resolution, which is enough for normalfags to think it's an upgrade over the original, plus the original does look rough in places which are improved in the remaster

but there is precious little that could be improved about Prime 2.
Prime 2 is so fucking detailed and refined in its artstyle, if you do that remaster without putting in extreme amounts of work, you'd get comparisons with every room calling it a downgrade.
