Thank god they improve this system in the sequel. The only reason for choosing which karma to go with is because of the powers you can get or how fast you want to finish a mission.

I had bought a cracked ps3 and it came with infamous 2 crysis 2 and a bunch of other games for free. Unfortunately, I had updated my OS at some point losing all of the games. Good times, I miss PS3.

The first game was the only one that got playing the hero right. If you were careless it was too easy to kill civilians (blowing cars, using big moves in crowded areas) that forced you to use your powers with restrain
In the sequels you get a skill that makes civies inmune to your attacks so playing hero or villain is almost identical
