If you're mostly interested in romance, you should play Guardians of Azuma instead, it's got a pretty nice and straightforward but elaborate romance for the girl you choose. I was pretty surprised at just how hard they went on the wedding.

Near the end of the game in act 3(which is more like a post game except the story keeps going) you get an option to have a wish, and one of them is to become roommate with one of your party members. In the original game it was more explicit in that you said you wanted to marry Gemma, and they added in other options in the definitive edition to all your party menders. The party member then moves into your house and you get a special side quest and scene with them. Gemma, Serena, and Jade are all pretty explicitly romantic, Veronica’s could go either way. You can also room with the guys but you can’t really be gay. If you choose your grandpa he shares his porn collection with you
