Oh, no wonder. Season 5 is when the show actually gets bad overall, not just a couple episodes.

Ironically, the best season finale in the entire show and of all television ever. Should have ended there with House getting committed honestly. Because season 6 was even worse if i remember correctly

The show is only entertaining when House is just foolish around and is an asshole usually when do clinic cases. The actual huge cases and dealing people is just dramatic and sad.
