Is it worth playing the destiny campaigns solo?

I only played destiny 2 at launch, and I did play solo. The campaign was great, but apparently they removed it

absolutely fucking NOT. Destiny 2 does only 2 things well, the OST and the gunplay. Everything else is utter shit, and that includes the campaigns
